Charles A. “Charlie” Roeder, 79, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016. A native and lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County, he was the son of the late Spafford P. Sr. and Carrie Brantley Roeder.  

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his siblings, Viola R. Martin, S.P. “Joe” Roeder Jr., Emma R. “Gigi” Smith, Louis L. “Mutt” Roeder and Leroy B. “Square” Roeder.

He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.  

Services were private.
