Adele M. Glensky

Adele M. Glensky,  64, of Savannah, Texas passed away on July 16, 2016. She was a former resident of Smithfield.  Born on Jan. 25, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee, Adele was the daughter of the late Margaret Ann (Buckley) and Wilder Floy McDaniel. On March 23, 1973, Adele married James Arthur Glensky in Petersburg. Adele was a member of Parkway Hill Baptist Church in Plano, Texas and worked as a physical therapist, most recently at the Gregory Kistler Treatment Center for Children in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Adele is survived by her husband, James A. Glensky of Savannah; two daughters, Allyson Mays and her husband, Tom of Bixby, Oklahoma and Lauren McNutt and her husband, Neal of Savannah; brother, Thomas F. McDaniel and his wife, Lori of Lynchburg; eight grandchildren, Makailyn, Baylee, Carter, Jyllian, Jynelle Mays, Addilyn, Brock and Emileigh McNutt.

Adele is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Ann and Wilder F. McDaniel.

A funeral service will be held at Parkway Hills Baptist Church Wednesday, July 20 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Old Celina Cemetery in Celina, Texas.
