The Smithfield community blood drive will be held Thursday, Sept. 15, noon to 6 p.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church, 201 Cedar St. in Smithfield.  The food canteen and sponsors will be the Ladies of Trinity United Methodist.  Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood.  Please help. 1-800-RED CROSS/weneedblood.org
