Lillian Beatrice Barlow, 96, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016. She was the daughter of Elmer H. and Lillian S. Russell Sr.. Lillian was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church. In her spare time she loved to knit for the Navy Relief.

In addition to her parents, Lillian is predeceased by her husband, Wyatt Glenn Barlow, and brother, Elmer Russell Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Glenn Russell Barlow and wife, Judy, John Wayne Barlow and Shirley Carter and husband, Charles; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

 A life celebration service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2 in Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Memorial Park. Friends and family will gather for a visitation from 6:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1 in Colonial Funeral Home.
