Geraldine Marie Dean, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, surrounded by family. She was born to the late Eugene and Joan Zawadzki in Buffalo, N.Y. Geraldine retired as a secretary to the superintendent for the Cheektowaga school system after 37 years.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Terry Dean; two sons, Jeffrey Scott Dean and Christopher Mark Dean; five grandchildren, Jacob, Alexander, Erik, Mikala and Megan Dean; one sister, Patricia Gnacinski; one brother, Paul Zawadzki; and two daughters-in-law, Lea and Evangeline Dean.
A memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Church of St. Therese in Chesapeake.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
