Forrest Bracey Scott

Forrest Bracey Scott, 56, died March 12, 2017. Bracey was the son of Janice Bracey Scott of Smithfield, and is predeceased by his father, Forrest Scott.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three beloved sons, Bradley Thomas Scott, staff sergeant, USAF, Forrest Benjamin Scott of Smithfield, and Patrick Bracey Scott, boatswain’s mate 3rd class, USCG; his two sisters, Jennifer Scott Miller and her husband David W. Miller of Vienna and Amy Scott Frischling and her husband William J. Frischling of New York, N.Y.; his dear friend, Joan Chambliss Mann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, March 17 at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Smithfield, officiated by the Rev. Jeff Cannon, followed by a reception in the church’s family activity center where the family will receive visitors. The reception will be followed by a private burial at Ivy Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to his preferred charity: the ALS Association – DC/MD/VA Chapter, 7507 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855 or on line at www.alsinfo.org or a charity of your choice.  Condolences may be registered on line at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
