MIDLOTHIAN — Floydette Edwards Ewing, 75, died after a long struggle with progressive supranuclear palsy on April 12, 2017 in Midlothian. Floydette is survived by her husband, William James Ewing; daughter, Sharon Pitt and her husband Ken Sampson; stepson, Adam Ewing and his wife Kelley; stepdaughter Hope E. Smith; and grandchildren, Matt, Patrick, Jake, Acton and Piper. 

A memorial service will be held at Winfree Memorial Baptist Church in Midlothian on April 21, 3 p.m. in celebration of her life.  Following the service, the family will receive friends in the fellowship hall.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Floydette’s name to CurePSP, Bon Secours Community Hospice House, Crater Community Hospice or Winfree Memorial Baptist Church.
