Kipp Gillette Jones, 64, of Smithfield passed away on Sept. 2, 2017.  Kipp was the son of the late Jesse Eugene Jones and Edna Felts Jones.  He had retired as an accountant, was a talented musician and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  Kipp is survived by his brother, Larry Eugene Jones and his wife Shamsoon; two aunts, Virginia Brown of Mt. Holly and Agnes Matheis, of Montross, along with numerous cousins.
