S. T. Stanley Jr., “Woofa,” 67, of Smithfield passed away Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017 at his residence with his family by his side.  S.T. was born in Franklin to the late Shirley Thomas Stanley Sr. and Elizabeth Elenore Fowler Stanley.  He was a retired painter, loving husband and father, who enjoyed fishing with his daughters and grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years Mary Katherine Williams Stanley; two daughters, Kathy Lynn Martin (Brian) and Patricia Lynn Widener (Jamie); eight grandchildren, Brian “Booboo,” Shanea, Joshua, Miranda, Colton, Jamie “Leigh,” Cassie and Tyler; four great-grandchildren, Trey, Alayna, Nathan and James; and sisters, Joyce Ann Jennings and Barbara Jean Massionett.  Services will private.  Condolences may be registered online at www.littlesfuneralhome.com
