John William Fowler Jr.

John William Fowler Jr., 68, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017. Born and raised in Fox Hill, he was a faithful member of Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church. John loved being outside boating, fishing, hunting, and especially gardening because he loved to share his bounty with his neighbors. A 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite, he was a member of Monitor Lodge #197, and a member of good standing of the Peninsula Shrine Club of Khedive Shrine Center. He retired from Graybar Electric in 2014 and enjoyed having more time to spend with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Fowler; his daughter, Jennifer Vincent and her husband, Keith and their children, Tyler, Madie and Josh; his son, John W. “Bubba” Fowler, III and his significant other, Brandy and her daughter, Destinee; his sister, Irene Griffin and her husband, Ken; his brother, Thomas Fowler and his wife, Marcia; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Oct. 24 at Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church by the Rev. Eric J. Vaudt. Burial with masonic rites will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
