Frances Downing Brock, 80, entered her heavenly home peacefully on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018. She was born in Onacock and later moved to Smithfield, where she graduated from Smithfield High School in 1955. She retired from the postal service after 28 years.

Frances is survived by her husband of 62 years, Otis Brock; daughter, Lisa Rhodes (Billy); son, Otis Guy Brock (Pam); and grandchildren, Brandon Paul, Allison and Jordan Brock, Krista and Brandon William Rhodes (Amanda). 

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 4, 4-5:30 p.m. at Smithfield Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 1 p.m. at Smithfield Baptist Church. Graveside to follow.
