Annabel “Jo” Fauber Christian, widow of Charles Hamel “Bu” Christian, died Friday, March 9, 2018 at age 99.  A native of Rockbridge County, she had made Newport News her home since 1941. 

Mrs. Christian retired from SUPSHIP, USN in 1979 as director of finance after 25 years. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Hilton Christian Church.
