On April 27, 2018, at 12:15 p.m., God received another angel into heaven when he called Doris O. Langley home.

Doris is preceded y her husband, Buford Langley, and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her brother, Coy Oliver of Clarksville, Tenn.; a daughter, Betty Carter (William Jr.) of Rescue; a son, Bobby Ray Langley (Rose) of Laurinburg, N.C.; granddaughters, Pam Brock (Guy), Dawn Carter of Suffolk and Danielle Clark (John); and grandsons, Brian Langley of Laurinburg and Jamie Langley of Rockingham, N.C.; eight great-grandchildren, Brandon, Allison, Jordan Brock, Madison Tessier, Kelly and Jay Clark, Devin and Nathan Langley. 

Doris was seldom found without a smile that was infectious to many. Doris was devoted to her friends and family. She will be best remembered for her love, kindness, care, her smile and her free hugs that she bestowed on everyone.

Graveside services were held May 1 at St. Luke’s cemetery.
