Nationally acclaimed blues performer Bobby Walters will perform on the Gazebo Stage Friday at 8 p.m.

Walters, who performs as Bobby Blackhat, has performed, and won awards as well as accolades up and down the East Coast. He has become a regular of the Summer Concert Series here.

The series will continue Friday, June 22 with a performance by the York River Band.

On June 29, the Rhondels will return to Smithfield to open Olden Days. 

The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by The Smithfield Times and the Isle of Wight Arts League. The Friday night concerts are free to the public.
