Swing music returns to Main Street Friday with Glen Boswick and “A Little Bit of Swing.”

Boswick leads the popular Sound of Swing Orchestra, and performs with his smaller combo in venues such as the Smithfield Summer Concert Series.

Songs by Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey and Duke Ellington are among the offerings of the combo. 

The performance begins at 8 p.m. Friday and is part of the summer series sponsored by The Smithfield Times and the Isle of Wight Arts League. All concert series performances are free to the public and are underwritten with private donations.
