Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight County Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 18, 2018 to consider the following application:

The application of Bay Sand Company, Inc., applicant, and Estate of EE Holloway, Jr. (Hunter H. Jones, Representative), owner, for a conditional use permit on 20 acres of land out of a 60 acre parcel located on a private road off of Muddy Cross Drive, with tax parcel identification number 32-01-080. The purpose of the application is to allow for the expansion of an existing resource extraction operation to be permitted on the property.

Copies of said application are on file in the Department of Planning and Zoning at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex, Isle of Wight, Virginia, and are available for public examination.

Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or to express his or her views with respect to said application may appear before and be heard by said Board of Supervisors during the Public Hearing to be held in the Robert C. Claud, Sr. Board Room at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex on Thursday, October 18, 2018. The public meeting is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.

The County of Isle of Wight is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. If you will require an accommodation or sign language interpreter to participate in the meeting, reasonable accommodations can be made upon request. Notice of Public Action

For auction is a 1995 Wellcraft 25” Cuddy Cabin boat. The auction will be held in the Smithfield Station marina at 415 South Church St. Smithfield, VA 23430. Auction date is October 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM. The boat is currently not running in in need of some care.

Cash or certified check are the only form of payment that will be accepted.
