Thomas Farr Bryant, 80, of Petersburg, passed away on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018. Born in Isle of Wight County, he was the son of the late James A. and Rosa J. Bryant. He was also preceded in death by brother, James C. Bryant and wife, Anneliese Bryant. Mr. Bryant was employed with Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company for many years.

He was a proud member of both the Eagles Club and American Legion of Petersburg. He was known to be a very good friend and was loved by his family very much. 

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Mellinger; stepdaughters, Kim Burgess and Karen Eudailey; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Emily Bryant Peace; very special friend, Mary Renney and her family; devoted neighbor, Randy Sidney; and many close friends. 

A graveside service was conducted Dec. 21 at Mill Swamp Baptist Church in Isle of Wight County.
