The Plaintiff filed this suit pursuant to Va. Code § 58.1-3965, et seq., to enforce its delinquent tax liens against the following real estate standing in the name of French Jack Hicks, III: Tax Map No.: 06I-01-001 Brief Description: L1 Allendale Estates

An affidavit having been filed that the Plaintiff used due diligence to locate the unknown heirs, devisees and successors in interest of P.D. Wells, but without effect; that the post office addresses of the unknown heirs, devisees and successors in interest of P.D. Wells are unknown; that the Plaintiff used due diligence to locate Defendant French Jack Hicks, III, if living, at his last known post office address of 837 Sharpley Avenue, Hampton, VA 23666 and has used due diligence to ascertain any other location for him, but without effect; that if French Jack Hicks, III is not living, the Plaintiff used due diligence to locate his unknown heirs, devisees and successors in interest, but without effect; that the post office addresses of the unknown heirs, devisees and successors in interest of French Jack Hicks, III are unknown; and that there may be other persons having an interest in the property whose names and addresses are unknown, and those claiming through the aforementioned parties, all such persons made defendants as “Parties Unknown.”
It is ORDERED that this Order be published at least once a week for two successive weeks in the Smithfield Times, a newspaper of general circulation in Isle of Wight, Virginia, and that the parties named herein appear at 9 a.m. March 27, 2019, in the Isle of Wight Circuit Court Clerk’s Office and do what may be necessary to protect their respective interests.

THE TOWN OF SMITHFIELD BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
SPECIAL YARD EXCEPTION

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Town of Smithfield, Virginia, will hold a public hearing at the regular meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals in the council chambers in The Smithfield Center, 220 N. Church Street, Smithfield, Virginia, in meeting room A, on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. to consider the application of Jon Lubecki and Linda Lubecki, owners, for a special yard exception under the provisions of Article 12, Section D of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Smithfield, Virginia, adopted September 1, 1998, and as amended thereafter, in order to approve a single family residential structure with a front yard setback of 19.1 feet. The applicant proposes to construct a single family dwelling house which will not meet the current ordinance requirements. The proposed single family dwelling will encroach into the front yard a distance of 15.9+/- feet. The Special Yard Exception will cure the violation. The property is located at 108 Tiger’s Eye. The minimum front yard setback is 35 feet, as provided by the Zoning Ordinance. The subject property is zoned S-R Suburban Residential District. CUP Case No. 2019-01 EDF Renewables Distributed Solutions. INC. and their local partner, David Pharr, are developing a 9 megawatt alternating current solar generation Project in Surry County, the Mount Nebo Solar Partners, LLC Project (“the Project”). The Project will be sited on property owned by the Mount Nebo Baptist Church, currently zoned R-1 and A-R. They are requesting a zoning change for the property to M-1, and conditional use permit for the Project in compliance with the County’s Solar Energy Ordinance.
