An affidavit having been filed that the Plaintiff served Defendant Julius L. Powell, Jr., if living, by posted service at his last known address of 20069 Muddy Cross Drive, Smithfield, VA and has used due diligence to ascertain any other location, but without effect; that if Julius L. Powell, Jr. is not living, that the Plaintiff used due diligence to locate his unknown heirs, devisees and successors in interest, but without effect; that the post office addresses of the unknown heirs, devisees and successors in interest of Julius L. Powell, Jr. are unknown; and that there may be other persons having an interest in the property whose names and addresses are unknown, and those claiming through the aforementioned parties, all such persons made defendants as “Parties Unknown.”
It is ORDERED that this Order be published at least once a week for two successive weeks in the Smithfield Times, a newspaper of general circulation in Isle of Wight, Virginia, and that the parties named herein appear at 9 a.m. May 15 , 2019, in the Isle of Wight Circuit Court Clerk’s Office and do what may be necessary to protect their respective interests.

Local Notice as Part of the Environmental Notification Process for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC’s) Antenna Structure Registration

ISLE OF WIGHT EMERGENCY SERVICES is proposing to construct a 204 feet (including appurtenance) telecommunications tower at OLD STAGE HIGHWAY, SMITHFIELD, VA 23430. The antenna structure is required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to have marking and/or lighting for aviation safety.

Interested persons may review the application for this project by going to www.fcc.gov/asr/applications and entering the Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) Form 854 File Number “A1134278”. Interested persons may raise environmental concerns about the proposed structure by filing a Request for Environmental Review with the FCC within 30 days of this posting. Instructions for filing such requests can be found at www.fcc.gov/asr/environmentalrequest. The FCC strongly encourages interested parties to file Requests for Environmental Review online.
