Old music played on old-style instruments are the hallmarks of Pasture #3, a group of kids and a few adults who will perform on the Gazebo Stage at 8 p.m. Friday.

Pasture #3 leader Steve Edwards describes the troupe as a multi-generational roots and Americana ensemble that focuses on the songs of the Carter family, Woody Gutherie and traditional gospel songs.

Friday’s concert is part of the Summer Concert Series sponsored weekly by The Smithfield Times and Isle of Wight Arts League.
