Hannah Smallwood Kirkwood, 85, wife of Joseph A. Kirkwood transitioned from this life on Friday, Aug. 9, 2019 at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Hannah was born Dec. 29, 1933 to the late Jasper and Rosie Payne Smallwood in Kansas City, Kan.

Along with parents, she was also preceded in death by her two sons, Michael and Steven Kirkwood; and daughter, Pamela Denise Kirkwood.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband of 67 years, Joseph Kirkwood; her son, Andre Kirkwood (Debbie) of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
