Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, to consider for recommendation to the Board of Supervisors the following applications:
  The application of Bay Sand Company, Inc., applicant, and Anne Marie Kirk, owner, for a conditional use permit on 50 acres of land out of an 85 acre parcel located on a private road off Muddy Cross Drive (Rte. 620), with tax parcel identification number 41-01-055. The purpose of the application is to allow for the expansion of an existing resource extraction operation to be permitted on the property.

The application of Richard and Joanne Antcliff for an exception to the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area Ordinance under Section 4002 to allow encroachment into the landward 50 feet of the Resource Protection Area buffer to install an above-ground pool with decking and equipment at 14 Wenley Circle (Rte. 1407) with tax parcel identification number 14A-02-060.

Town of Windsor – Planning Commission

PUBLIC HEARING

The Planning Commission of the Town of Windsor will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 25, 2019, in the Windsor Town Hall located at 8 E Windsor Blvd., Windsor, Virginia, to consider the following:

Beginning at 7:00 p.m.

To rezone a portion of parcel 54-01-067 from General Agricultural A-1 to Residential District R-1. The property is located on Buckhorn Drive in the Town of Windsor, VA. The purpose of the rezoning is to allow for the subdivision of said property, with the creation of two new parcels that would be zoned R-1. The comprehensive plan identifies this location to be agricultural, with a density of 0.014 units per acre. The two new parcels will have a housing density of 0.344 acre per unit, and 0.466 unit per acre. The proposed Residential R-1 zoning designation recommended density is 2.9 units per acre.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Sections 15.2-1427 of the Code of Virginia (1950, as amended) that the Isle of Wight County Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 19, 2019 to consider the following:

An ordinance to amend and reenact the Isle of Wight County Code by amending and reenacting Chapter 8 – Garbage, Weeds and Litter, Article II , Condition of Premises: Owner and Occupant Duties, Article III, Unlawful Disposal of Litter on Highway, Right-of-Way or Private Property, and Article IV, Load Covering and Transportation of Litter. The purpose of the proposed amendments are technical and editorial revisions and to bring the provisions thereof into compliance with state law. Chapter 11-Motor Vehicles and Traffic, Article I, In General, and Article VII, Driving While Under Influence of Alcohol or Other Intoxicant or Drug. The purpose of the proposed amendments are technical and editorial revisions and to bring the provisions thereof into compliance with state law. Chapter 14-Sewers and Sewage Disposal, and Chapter 16.1-Water. The purpose of the proposed amendments are technical and editorial revisions, modifying the water and sewer leak credit process, and to bring the provisions thereof into compliance with state law.

A copy of said ordinance amendment is on file in the County Attorney’s Office at the Isle of Wight County Courthouse Complex, Isle of Wight, Virginia, and is available for public examination.

Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or to express his or her views with respect to said ordinance amendment may appear before and be heard by said Board of Supervisors during the Public Hearing to be held in the Robert C.
