A 2020 Peterbilt tractor-trailer ran off the roadway and overturned, Anaya stated. The truck was hauling corrosive material, liquid aluminum sulfate; however, while that material did not spill, the truck itself leaked between 75 and 100 gallons of diesel fuel. A crew is on scene to clean up the hazardous materials.

The driver, Arrick H. Chaffin, of Nottoway, is uninjured.

The detour is Route 460 to Route 258 north to Route 620 west back to Route 460.
