FUQUAY VARINA, NC – Donald Wilson Parker, 74, passed away May 8, 2020 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.  

A native of Franklin, VA, he was a son of the late Jasper Wilson Parker and Cora Lee Byrum Parker.

Donald attended Franklin High School and was a retired 21 year Air Force Veteran.  He was also a former resident of Surry and employee of Dominion Power.

Survivors include his girlfriend Jane Herbst; three sisters, Brenda Lou Blankenship of Collierville, TN, June Elizabeth Cofer of Smithfield, VA and Marilyn Frances Chowning of Henrico, VA; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at 8 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. David Dillon officiating.  Burial will held at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
