I would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at Riverside Assisted Living in Smithfield for an outstanding job keeping the residents safe.

During this COVID-19 pandemic, all the staff involved have adhered to the strictest of precautions to protect the residents. As a result, not one resident has tested positive for COVID-19.

No doubt their restrictions have been an inconvenience to the residents and to those of us who visit. But those restrictions were recommended by several state and federal resources.

I also believe that the staff have done their best to not only protect the residents, but they took measures to keep their morale up and maintain safe levels of activity.

I have no doubt that my mother is in safe hands at Riverside Assisted Living and fully trust the staff who work there. I commend all the staff involved for a job well done taking care of our loved ones. Thank you and keep up the good work.
