The following roads in Surry County had standing water and were closed to motorists as of 9 p.m. Saturday, according to a post on Surry County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page. People should take another route.

• On Virginia 10, the vicinity of Idlewild Lane, Martin Luther King Highway, Swanns Point Road, Route 646 and Virginia 40, all east and west lanes are closed.
• On Route 610, in the vicinity of Route 646, near 687 Swanns Point Road, all east and west lanes are closed.
• On Route 646, in the vicinity of Route 626, near 2514 Spring Grove Avenue, all north and south lanes are closed.
• On Route 618 in the vicinity of Route 648, all north and south lanes are closed.
• On Route 618 in the vicinity of Route 616, near Luther P. Jackson Middle School, all north and south lanes are closed.
• On Virginia 10 in the vicinity of Hollybush Road, Route 618 near 3580 Colonial Trail W., all east and west lanes are closed.
