Editor, The Smithfield Times:
We would like to extend a huge thank you to a few people who recently came to the rescue of the Riverside Diagnostic Center in Smithfield.
On Thursday, Aug. 6, after heavy rainfall, our MRI mobile machine started leaking from the ceiling. A quick phone call for help led to J. Brian Carroll, Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department and Smithfield True Value (Judson and Bobby Little) coming to the rescue. Brian brought a tarp and supplies, and with the help of the fire department, we were able to secure the roof of the mobile to prevent any further damage from the leaks.
Riverside Regional Medical Center and Riverside Diagnostic Center thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us in our time of need so that we may continue to provide care for others.
