The Christmas Store in downtown Smithfield is currently closed until further notice due to an employee having been exposed to COVID-19.

The closure was announced on the store’s Facebook page on Aug. 25. It read, in part, “We are doing this to err on the safe side, as no symptoms have shown, but we need to protect our customers and workers.”
