Virginia State Police are investigating a Labor Day crash that killed one man.

The crash was reported at 9:04 p.m. Monday in the 21300 block of Brewers Neck Boulevard, according to an email from Virginia State Police Public Relations Coordinator Shelby Crouch. A sedan ran off the road and into the median. The male driver was transported to Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, where he succumbed to his injuries.

No further details were immediately available by press time Tuesday. The crash remains under investigation.
