Smithfield Town Council plans to meet one day early next month due to Election Day.

Town Council’s next meeting will be on Nov. 2, which is a Monday. Council normally meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the Smithfield Center. The board unanimously agreed at its Oct. 6 meeting to make the one-time only change to its November meeting.
