The Smithfield Kiwanis Club’s annual Santa Breakfast has fallen victim to coronavirus concerns.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the club announced Nov. 11 that the annual event is canceled.

Smithfield Kiwanis usually prepare a hot breakfast and facilitate time for kids to visit with Santa to share their Christmas wishes.

“We look forward to once again hosting  this popular event next year. We wish everyone a wonderful and safe holiday season,” the club said.
