Virginia Miss Petite Agriculture USA Queen

Zoey Ray Compton, of Isle of Wight, was recently named the 2021 Virginia Miss Petite Agriculture USA Queen.

The Miss Agriculture USA is a nonprofit agriculture promotion organization featuring young ladies of all ages that educate and promote the importance of agriculture.

Zoey is the 11-year-old daughter of Aaron and Brandy Compton, of Isle of Wight. She attends Abeka Christian Academy. Zoey is very involved in the Isle of Wight County 4-H club. Zoey also enjoys learning as much as she possibly can about cars. She loves spending time in the garage with her father and learning how to turn a wrench. Zoey is very creative as well and enjoys drawing and painting.

Zoey’s agricultural interests include gardening, canning, and raising chickens as well as showing them; she also shows rabbits. She enjoys teaching others about agriculture and the importance of our farmers.

Zoey is very excited to compete in Miss Agriculture USA. She hopes to be a positive role model to other girls.  She says, “It’s so much more than a crown; it’s about promoting agriculture.”
