Despite having to cancel its main event in 2020 due to COVID-19, the Isle of Wight County Fair still placed in the International Fairs and Expositions Contest — finishing third in its division for “Agriculture Education during COVID-19 Video.”

It also received an award of excellence for “Outstanding Virtual Contest” in the Competitive Exhibits contest.

The 130th annual IAFE Convention was held virtually Nov. 30 through Dec. 1. The Competitive Exhibits and Agricultural Awards contests showcase an array of promotional and educational tactics used at fairs across the world.
