Emma Rotzler, of Franklin, was recently named the 2021 Virginia Teen Miss Agriculture USA Queen.
Miss Agriculture USA is a new, nonprofit agriculture promotion organization featuring queens of all ages that promote, celebrate and educate about all the diverse aspects of agriculture.
Emma is the 15-year-old daughter of Joseph and Natalie Rotzler, of Franklin. She attends Lakeland High School in Suffolk, where she plays volleyball and holds an officer position in FFA. As a member of Miss Agriculture USA, 4H and Girl Scout Troop 946, Emma participates in a variety of community service projects.
Her agricultural interests include rabbit breeding and showing, as well as agriculture education. She is a fourth-year member of her two 4-H clubs, Southampton Livestock Club and Isle of Wight 4H Club, where she is an active officer in both clubs. Emma wants to encourage the younger generations to take a vested interest in all types of agriculture. Although she doesn’t live on a farm, she has a deep-rooted passion for agriculture, which has given her numerous exciting opportunities.
Emma will be competing at the National Miss Agriculture USA Queen competition to be held in Ohio in June 2021.
