The Smithfield High School Packers put away three games last week to improve their record to 6-0.
The varsity boys competed against Gloucester High School on Feb. 1. The Packers won 67-52. Senior Corey Moore contributed 26 points and sophomore Troy Giles contributed 14 points.
Later in the week, the Packers celebrated their usual Senior Night in two parts, because of COVID-19 and the number of seniors on the varsity team.
Smithfield defeated Poquoson High School 43-19 on Feb. 3 and honored their first four seniors — Corey Moye, Joshua Condit, Tristan Baker and Ryan Bond.
On Feb. 5, Smithfield defeated Tabb High School 63-37 and honored seniors Kelby Saunders, Che Mullins, Rashad Tucker and Jabarie Thomas.
In that contest, Rashad Tucker contributed 20 points, and Corey Moye scored 10.
