Pauline Tucker Bowden, 92, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 13, 2021. She was born on June 8, 1928, the daughter of the late Julia Ann Tucker and Paul Johnson, of Carrollton.

Pauline is survived by a loving and devoted daughter, Sondra Bowden Artis (Richard), of Battery Park; three sons, Pernell A. Bowden Jr., Elworth Bowden (Laverne), both of Smithfield, and Timothy Bowden, of Battery Park. She will be deeply missed by her 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren (the fifth generation).

Pauline had been a member of Macedonia AME Church, Carrollton. She loved cooking, fishing and traveling. She loved making ceramics, enjoyed quilting and participating in various projects with her friends at the Nike Park Senior Citizen group, of which Pauline was a member for more than 40 years.

A graveside service with family and friends was held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Macedonia AME Church.
