“He received a total sentence of 120 years with 100 years suspended (active sentence of 20 years),” said Isle of Wight Commonwealth’s Attorney Georgette Phillips. “Upon his release, he will be on supervised probation for a period of 20 years and good behavior for a period of 35 years. Additionally, he will be required to register as a sex offender.”

Michelle Putnam, also of Carrollton, also faces 16 felony child pornography charges in connection with this case. During their investigation of Wacks, authorities found that Putnam had a possible relationship with Wacks. Putnam was also arrested in 2019. She is accused of secretly taking photos of women without their consent who were spray tanning at her apartment and businesses in Newport News, WAVY-TV reported. Putnam is scheduled to go to trial in Isle of Wight Circuit Court on July 15.

Phillips said on March 18 that she expects Putnam’s case to proceed as scheduled.
