Isle of Wight County Schools has appointed Windsor High School junior Kylie Sharpe as the school’s student liaison to the School Board.

Sharpe is a member of WHS’s Beta Club and has played basketball and volleyball for the Dukes. She is a resident of Carrsville and a current member of the Carrsville Ruritan Club. She also volunteers with the Federal Bureau of Land Management in support of the Wild Mustang and Burro Program.

She joins Neelie Harris, a Smithfield High School senior who currently serves as that school’s student liaison. Students apply for the liaison position and interview with a panel of division administrators.

Sharpe will serve a two-year term on the Board.
