Smithfield resident named to Virginia Tech Dean’s List

Kelsey G. Briggs, a sophomore majoring in professional and technical writing in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences from Smithfield, is among the Virginia Tech students named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must complete at least 12 credit hours graded on the A-F option and earn a 3.4 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the semester. Briggs is the son of Robb and Lynn Briggs, of Smithfield.

 

SNHU announces Summer 2021 President’s List

Southern New Hampshire University recently announced the following students being named to the summer 2021 President’s List.

Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6.

Janey Hall named to Dean’s List

Lee University announced Janey Hall, of Carrollton, earned Dean’s List honors during the Spring 2021 semester. Dean’s List recognition is earned by full-time, on-campus students with a semester grade point average between 3.7 and 4.0.
