Arden Hemp Mann, 93, of Smithfield, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Robert Hemp and Hattie Bernice Woolwine Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Alfred Hayes Mann. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Mann Gray (Donald); sons, Ronald E. Mann (Raye), Donald A. Mann and William J. Mann (Sandi); nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Mann, and a great-grandchild, Kaleb Hayes Gray. Mrs. Mann was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church and the Paulette Savage Sunday School Class. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
