According to Deputy Alecia Paul, assistant public information officer for the Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office, the suspect — 22-year-old Hunter D. Reseigne of Norfolk — is alleged to have shared material depicting child sexual abuse with an undercover Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office investigator. At the time of his arrest, Reseigne was an active-duty member of the Navy, hence the involvement of NCIS.

Reseigne was taken to the Western Tidewater Regional Jail, where he is being held with no bond.
