Timothy Rawls Stephenson

Timothy Rawls Stephenson, 60, of Smithfield, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022.
He was the son of Erma Marie Crocker Stephenson and the late Willard Rawls Stephenson. Tim is survived by his wife of 26 years, Patti Lynn Clark Stephenson; daughters, Sherri Lynn Williams (Joel) and Dusti Rae Disney; grandchildren, Michelle, Ashlyn and Sydney; a sister, Penny S. Ellis (Ronald); and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gregory A. Stephenson and a grandson, Christopher Joel Dale Williams.
He was a member of Central Hill Baptist Church, a past life member of the Real Smithfield Jaycees, past Boy Scout Master, where he earned the God and Country Award, and a past cast member of the Smithfield Little Theatre. He graduated from Isle of Wight Academy in 1979, and then from DuPage Horticultural School and enjoyed gardening, especially in his side yard with flowers for the neighborhood. He retired from Dominion Energy as a nuclear mechanic. He was the owner of Pretty Petals Miniatures.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield. A private family service will be held at Central Hill Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
