The Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department will host an open house and truck dedication on Saturday, April 23.

Festivities Include a bounce house, face painting, food trucks, balloon animals, demonstrations, station tours and the opportunity to meet the volunteer firefighters.

The event kicks off at 10 a.m. with an extrication demonstration, followed at 11 a.m. with skills demonstrations, Ladder 10 demonstrations at noon, and the formal truck dedication ceremony at 1 p.m. The event concludes at 2 p.m.

The fire station is located at 15020 Carrollton Blvd.
