Lela “June” Stiltner, 90, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Lauring Shelton; husband, Lee R. Stiltner; brothers, Troy Shelton, Jack Shelton, Dillard Shelton, Carl Shelton and Doak Shelton and a sister, Marvice.

In the 1950s Mrs. Stiltner worked at Ashville Mica Co. in Newport News, VA. She was a bus driver for the York County Public Schools during 1960-68’.  Later she worked at Yorktown Naval Weapons Station from 1968 till retirement in 1991. She was an active member of Windsor Baptist Church. She also served many years as a Meals on Wheels volunteer.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, James C. Stiltner (Mary), Linda Holland (Mike) and John D. Stiltner (Robin); grandchildren, Bobby Griffin (Laura), Mike Griffin, Heather Lugenbeal (Blake), Travis Stiltner, Haley Stiltner and Hayden Stiltner (Cassie) along with great-grandchildren, Peyton Chludzinski, Gage Griffin, Chloe Griffin and Shawn Stiltner; a brother, Lewis Shelton and many nieces and nephews. Also left behind, is her beloved pet Missy.

A graveside service with Rev. Clyde Alderman officiating will be held Monday, June 20, 2022 at 2PM in the Windsor Cemetery, 36 E Griffin St, Windsor, VA 23487. The family will see friends following the graveside service at the family’s home, 12174 Shiloh Dr. Windsor, VA.
