Joanne Johnson Nottingham of Carrollton, VA went to be with our Lord on Wednesday July 6, 2022, peacefully in her home by her husband’s side after a long battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her son Peyton Nottingham IV. She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband Peyton Nottingham of 64 years, daughter Beverley Prillaman; son in law Paul “Bud” Prillaman, grandson Paul Prillaman, granddaughter Amanda Prillaman, great grandsons Paul and Page Prillaman, sister Saundra Bozeman, brother Raleigh Johnson and many family members and friends.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 10, 2022, 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Memorial Park.  The family received friends on Saturday, July 9 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield.
