Clara Catron Wellons turned 100 years old on June 24. Wellons was the youngest of 11 children, raised on a farm in Bedford County.

She’s a mother, grandmother, and was a registered nurse and pastor’s wife. 

A party was held for her on June 25 at Central Hill Baptist Church.
