Deacon Leon Parker, 86, of Main Street in Smithfield was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2022.  He was the Owner and Operator of Overnight Delivery, Inc.  Deacon Parker is survived by a son, Alvin Parker (Tammy).  Viewing will be held from 4- 6 pm on Thursday, August 11 at Chapman-JT Fisher Funeral Services, 658 W Main Street, Smithfield.  A life celebration service will be held 11 am Friday, August 12, 2022 at Cypress Baptist Church, 849 Runnymede Road, Elberon, VA.  Condolences can be offered to the family at www.cjtffs.com.
