Protecting our democracy and personal freedoms necessitates that we reelect Elaine Luria as congresswoman in the new 2nd District.

Luria’s personal freedoms beliefs related to reproductive health care include supporting the right to an abortion and codifying Roe vs. Wade into federal law. She also believes that this is a choice a woman makes between herself, her family, her doctor and her faith – the government should have no part in it.

Her opponent Jen Kiggans supports a nationwide ban on abortion with no exceptions and calls herself 100% pro-life. She also opposed pro-choice legislation in the Virginia Senate.

Luria’s activities related to protecting democracy includes being an active member on the January 6th Select Committee to investigate the attack on the U.S. Capitol and co-sponsoring and voting for the For People Act and the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which protects and expands the right to vote.

Jen Kiggans has refused to admit that President Biden won the 2020 election legitimately and seeks to spend $70 million of taxpayer money auditing the 2020 election in Virginia without any evidence of voter fraud.

Voting for Congresswoman Luria is the only way to ensure Hampton Roads continues to have representation in Congress that respects and defends democracy and personal freedoms, and she will continue to work hard and deliver for the people of Coastal Virginia!
