Steve Bowman is a candidate for the Smithfield Town Council. What great news!

Steve certainly is a great person to serve the town. In a late September edition of the Times, he provided his position on a number of critical issues. You can be sure that he will maintain those positions unless convinced (after considerable debate) that there is a better alternative. He is a man of his word, for sure.

As noted in the aforementioned article, he has vast experience in local and state issues. His recent experience in a state position has provided invaluable insight as to how things work at this higher level, very useful in negotiations at that level. I am sure that Steve will work hard at maintaining the “small town” atmosphere of Smithfield while supporting controlled growth, which is almost inevitable.

Please, citizens of Smithfield, give Steve a chance to prove himself. I promise you will never regret it.
