Robert William Weisz, 70, of Carrollton, VA passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2022 in his home.  He was the son of the late George William Weisz and Gladys Roberta Nowaskey Weisz.  He was also preceded in death by his wife Linda Lee Deal Weisz.  He is survived by his daughter, Kristin Largena; son, Eric Weisz (Meghan Reppond); grandchildren, Sophia, Walter, Jaxon and Alice; and a brother James Weisz (Carol).  Bob graduated from Walt Whitman High School in Huntington, NY as well as SUNY Stony Brook, NY. He retired after a 32-year career with the Social Security Administration.  He enjoyed camping and bike riding, he was an avid Carolina Hurricanes fan, and was a passionate defender of the environment.  Those who loved him described him as generous, loving, kind, humble, understanding and simply the best.  A private family service will be held at a later date at St. Luke’s Memorial Park, Smithfield, VA where he will be interred alongside his wife.
